Join your friends and 400+ other high schoolers from around the area for a great weekend at a beautiful resort on the Upper Chesapeake Bay!

WHEN: Friday, November 20- Sunday, November 22

• Departure: Friday departure from Howard High School. Be at Howard by 6:15pm on Friday 11/20 and we will depart no later than 6:45PM.  Please make sure you student eats dinner beforehand. We will return to the same place on Sunday 11/22 at approximately 2:30pm (we will stop for lunch on the way home).  

COST: $XXX (Deposit of $50 is required to hold your spot)  Money is nonrefundable after November 1. Total balance is due on November 16.

OTHER DETAILS:

HEALTH & MEDS FORMS: Everyone must complete required HEALTH FORM that will be sent to you after registration. Please fill this short health form out ASAP.  If you are bringing any medications, please download, complete and print the Medication Form  and bring it along with your clearly-labeled medications to the bus on November 20th.

PACKING LIST: Completed medication form (if needed), sleeping bag or twin sheets/blanket, pillow, shower towel, warm casual clothes, other active clothes that can get dirty, toiletries, money for food on the way home, dinner on Friday night (or eat before arriving to the bus), spending money for snack bar and camp store (optional), watch, water bottle.

PHONES/SMARTWATCHES/TABLETS: You can bring these items on the bus to and from camp; however, we will collect them and keep them safe when we arrive at camp.  Cell phones do not work well at our camp location and there are free long-distance phones at camp to use at any time. We recommend students pack a watch to keep track of time.

NOTE TO PARENTS:

We would love to have your son or daughter join us for this incredible weekend. Most kids say this is the highlight of their school year! 

If your son or daughter has shown an interest in Young Life, you may be wondering, “What is Young Life?  What is its purpose?”  In Young Life, we seek to reveal to adolescents the message of God’s immense love through the friendship of their peers and an adult leader.

At camp, your son or daughter will participate in planned and supervised activities run by trained volunteer leaders and staff. A certified EMT or nurse will also be on duty at the camp. If you would like to reach your child at any time during the weekend, please call the camp office at (443) 967-0500. If no one is in the office, please leave a message. In the case of an emergency, the answering machine will direct you to the “on call” camp supervisor.
